Classic Ponds build and installs a range of unique bespoke teahouses, gazebos and pavilions with a nationwide installation and delivery service. Our buildings have a rustic charm with an oriental influence and elegance. They are low in maintenance and highly durable ensuring that you can spend your leisure enjoying the peace and tranquility of your garden to the full.

Our buildings may be configured into three designs, pavilions, gazebos and teahouses which are fully enclosed these are standard configurations or can be custom built.
Pavilions consist of the roof structure and supporting framework.
Gazebos are pavilions with open lattice panels fitted to the sides and Shoji style panels to the rear these can be configured to suit.
Teahouses are enclosed pavilions clad with Shoji style paneling complete with round moon glass windows sized at either small 0.6m or large 0.9m with simple latticework and sliding doors. The paneling is fabricated from timber or a structural PVC sheet, giving a more natural look and can be painted any colour.  
Verandas can be installed with any of our buildings.
Roofing we offer a choice of roofing shingles including Oak and Western Red Cedar, which are highly durable.
When sizing your Tea House, please note the roof measurement will be around 20cm greater and a little more on the corners depending on the style of the building with the eaves height being 1.82m.

The Jade Mountain design has a rectangular based floor plan with a lower profile roof as viewed from the front; it is available in the three styles, pavilion, gazebo or as a tea house.
The Jade Mountain has a variety of possible finishes these can either be made open as a pavilion or as a gazebo with lattice panels or as a tea house with shoji style panel’s and made with or without the moon window.
The roof can either be slightly curved as seen on traditional Japanese buildings or a straight roof, all are cedar shingled.
An external veranda with simple traditional style railings is available on this model.

The Summer Moon design has a square based floor plan and is available in a number of sizes; it is available in the three styles, pavilion, gazebo or as a tea house.
The Summer Moon has a variety of possible finishes these can either be made open as a pavilion or as a gazebo with lattice panels or as a tea house with shoji style panel’s and made with or without the moon window.
The roof can either be slightly curved as seen on traditional Japanese buildings or a straight roof, all are cedar shingled.
An external veranda with simple traditional style railings is available on this model.

The Yangmingshan design has a ridged roof with all round hips in the oriental style and may be built to a square or rectangular floor plan; it is available in the three styles, pavilion, gazebo with lattice panels or as a tea house with shoji style panel’s and made with or without the moon window.
The roof can either be slightly curved as seen on traditional Japanese buildings or a straight roof, all are cedar shingled.
An external veranda with simple traditional style railings is available on this model.

The Orange Blossom is designed to fit into those awkward corners and is available as a standard model in the teahouse style with cedar roof and choice of cladding for the sides. The with shoji style panel’s can be of the traditional style or made using shiplap timber or framed bamboo or PVC and made with or without the moon window.
The roof can either be slightly curved as seen on traditional Japanese buildings or a straight roof, all are cedar shingled.

The Sukiya Cha-Shitsu is a traditional tea house building. It has a rectangular floor plan with simple cedar shingled roof and can be fitted with an internal partition and a lean to entrance roof, the shoji style panels can be of the traditional style and made with or without the moon window.

The Sukiya Arbour is a traditional Machiai waiting arbour; it is a typical "bus shelter" style and has two forms, a single sided roof when sited against a wall or a double-sided roof when free standing the shoji style panels can be of the traditional style and made with or without the moon window.
